Ingredients:
TOPPING
2/3 cupAll-purpose flour
1/2 cupPecans, chopped
1/3 cupFirmly packed brown sugar
6 tbspButter, softened
CRUST
1 1/4 cupAll-purpose flour
1/2 cupGranulated sugar
1/2 cupButter
1/2 cupRaspberry or strawberry jam
1 packNESTLE Toll House milk
-chocolate morsels (11.5 oz)
Procedures:
1Topping: in small bowl, combine 2/3 cup flour, pecans and brown sugar.
2With pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in 6 tablespoons butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; set aside.
3crust: preheat oven to 375°F.
4Grease 9" square baking pan.
5In small bowl, combine 1 ?cup flour and granulated sugar.
6With pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in ?cup butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
7Press into prepared pan.
8bake 20-25 minutes until set but not brown.
9Spread with jam.
10Top with nestle toll house milk chocolate morsels and topping.
11bake 15-20 minutes longer until top is lightly browned.
12Cool completely; cut into 2 ? squares.
13makes 16 squares.
