Ingredients:

| cup | Margarine, softened | | 1
| cup | Peanut butter | | 1
| cup | Sugar | | 2
| | Eggs | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla | | 1 1/2
| cup | Flour | | 1/4
| tsp | Baking soda | | 1
| tsp | Baking powder | | 1/4
| tsp | Salt | | | FROSTING | | 1/2
| cup | Peanut butter | | 1 1/2
| cup | Powdered sugar | | 2
| tsp | Vanilla | | 2/3
| cup | Peanut butter |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cookies in a large bowl, using a mixer, cream butter and peanut butter with sugar until light and fluffy. | | 2 | Beat in the eggs one at a time. | | 3 | Stir in the vanilla. | | 4 | Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. | | 5 | Gradually blend into creamed mixture. | | 6 | Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. | | 7 | Bake at 375°F. for 10 minutes. | | 8 | Cool. | | 9 | Spread with the frosting. | | 10 | Makes 3 dozen cookies. | | 11 | Frosting melt margarine. | | 12 | Remove from heat. | | 13 | Beat in the sugar and vanilla. | | 14 | Mix well. | | 15 | Stir in the peanut butter. | | 16 | If the mixture becomes too thick, add milk or water to give it a spreading consistency. |
