Frosted peanut butter cookies

Ingredients:
COOKIES
1/2 cupMargarine, softened
1 cupPeanut butter
1 cupSugar
2 Eggs
1 tspVanilla
1 1/2 cupFlour
1/4 tspBaking soda
1 tspBaking powder
1/4 tspSalt
FROSTING
1/2 cupPeanut butter
1 1/2 cupPowdered sugar
2 tspVanilla
2/3 cupPeanut butter
Procedures:
1Cookies in a large bowl, using a mixer, cream butter and peanut butter with sugar until light and fluffy.
2Beat in the eggs one at a time.
3Stir in the vanilla.
4Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
5Gradually blend into creamed mixture.
6Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
7Bake at 375°F. for 10 minutes.
8Cool.
9Spread with the frosting.
10Makes 3 dozen cookies.
11Frosting melt margarine.
12Remove from heat.
13Beat in the sugar and vanilla.
14Mix well.
15Stir in the peanut butter.
16If the mixture becomes too thick, add milk or water to give it a spreading consistency.
