| 1 | Preheat oven to 350°F. |
| 2 | Lightly grease cookie sheet. |
| 3 | In large bowl, cream peanut butter, margarine and sugar. |
| 4 | Add egg. |
| 5 | Stir in flour and baking powder; add salt, if desired. |
| 6 | Stir in cereal; mix well. |
| 7 | For each cookie, roll 1 level tablespoon dough into ball. |
| 8 | Place on prepared cookie sheet. |
| 9 | With fork dipped in sugar, flatten slightly in criss-cross pattern. |
| 10 | Bake 8-10 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned. |
| 11 | Let stand 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet. |
| 12 | Cool on wire rack. |
| 13 | makes 2 ?dozen cookies. |
