| 1 | Preheat oven to 350°F. |
| 2 | Place 24 (2") foil liners on baking sheets. |
| 3 | For brownies, combine brownie mix, egg, water and oil in large bowl. |
| 4 | Stir with spoon until well blended, about 50 strokes. |
| 5 | Stir in contents of walnut packet from mix. |
| 6 | Fill each foil liner with 2 generous tablespoons batter. |
| 7 | Bake at 350°F. |
| 8 | For 20-25 minutes or until set. |
| 9 | Cool completely. |
| 10 | Remove liners. |
| 11 | Turn brownies upside down on cooling racks. |
| 12 | For glaze, combine confectioners" sugar and milk in medium bowl. |
| 13 | Blend until smooth. |
| 14 | Spoon glaze over first brownie to completely cover. |
| 15 | Top immediately with walnut half. |
| 16 | Repeat with remaining brownies. |
| 17 | Allow glaze to set. |
| 18 | For chocolate drizzle, place chocolate chips and shortening in small resealable plastic bag; seal. |
| 19 | Place bag in bowl of hot water for several minutes. |
| 20 | Dry with paper towel. |
| 21 | Knead until blended and chocolate is smooth. |
| 22 | Snip pinpoint hole in corner of bag. |
| 23 | Drizzle chocolate over brownies. |
| 24 | Allow chocolate drizzle to set before storing in single layer in airtight containers. makes 24 brownies. |
