Ingredients:
2 Sticks butter or margarine
1 1/2 cupBrown sugar
3 cupFlour
1 tspBaking soda
1 lbsCandied cherries, chopped
1 lbsCandied pineapple, chopped
1 lbsDates, chopped
6 cupPecans, chopped
1/2 cupButtermilk
3 Eggs, well beaten
2 tspCinnamon
1 tspVanilla
1 tspAllspice
1/2 tspNutmeg
1/2 tspCloves
1 tspSalt
Procedures:
1Cream butter & sugar.
2Add eggs.
3Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk to sugar/butter/eggs mixture.
4Pour batter into chopped fruits and nuts.
5Mix.
6Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet and bake 25 min. in a 300 degree oven.
7Do not burn.
