Eggnog cookies

Ingredients:
1 cupButter or margarine, softend
2 cupSugar
1 cupStore-bought eggnog
1 tspBaking soda
1/2 tspGround nutmeg
5 1/2 cupAll-purpose flour
1 Egg white, lightly beaten
Colored sugar
Procedures:
1In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
2Beat in eggnog, baking soda and nutmeg.
3Gradually add flour and mix well.
4Cover and chill for 1 hour.
5On a lighlty floured surface, roll out half of the dough to 1/8-in.
6Thickness.
7Cut into desired shapes; place on ungreased baking sheets.
8Repeat with remaining dough.
9Brush with egg white; sprinkle with colored sugar.
10Bake at 350°F for 6-8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
11Cool on wire racks.
