Ingredients:
1 cupSugar
1 lbsButter
3 1/2 cupFlour, all purpose
1 cupRice flour
2 tbspSugar
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350°F.
2Place 1 cup sugar in food processor; blend 30 sec.
3(or use fruit sugar).
4Add to softened butter and cream mixture until very fluffy.?combine flour and rice flour.
5Beat into batter in small portions.
6Turn batter out onto a lightly floured surface.
7Knead until smooth, adding up to ?c more all-purpose flour, if needed.
8Press into a 15 x 9 jelly roll pan.
9Score into bars with a sharp knife.
10Prick surface with fork.
11Sprinkle with remaining 2 t sugar.
12Bake 10 minutes then lower heat to 300f and bake until golden, about 30 to 40 minutes.
13Cut along scored lines, cool and store in air tight container.
