Ingredients:

| cup | Sugar | | 1
| lbs | Butter | | 3 1/2
| cup | Flour, all purpose | | 1
| cup | Rice flour | | 2
| tbsp | Sugar |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 350°F. | | 2 | Place 1 cup sugar in food processor; blend 30 sec. | | 3 | (or use fruit sugar). | | 4 | Add to softened butter and cream mixture until very fluffy.?combine flour and rice flour. | | 5 | Beat into batter in small portions. | | 6 | Turn batter out onto a lightly floured surface. | | 7 | Knead until smooth, adding up to ?c more all-purpose flour, if needed. | | 8 | Press into a 15 x 9 jelly roll pan. | | 9 | Score into bars with a sharp knife. | | 10 | Prick surface with fork. | | 11 | Sprinkle with remaining 2 t sugar. | | 12 | Bake 10 minutes then lower heat to 300f and bake until golden, about 30 to 40 minutes. | | 13 | Cut along scored lines, cool and store in air tight container. | | 14 | (good recipe from toronto star, very fast). |
