Ingredients:

| cup | Chopped prunes | | | -(or chopped dried apples) | | 1
| cup | Chopped dried apricots | | 1 1/2
| cup | Brown sugar, packed | | 1 1/2
| cup | Flaked coconut | | 1
| cup | Chopped almonds | | 24
| | Wonton skins | | | Oil |

Procedures:
| 1 | Mix together prunes, apricots, brown sugar, coconut and almonds. | | 2 | Place about 2 teaspoons mixture in center of each wonton skin. | | 3 | Moisten edges with water. | | 4 | Fold each skin in half to form triangle. | | 5 | Press edges firmly to seal. | | 6 | Cover to prevent drying. | | 7 | Heat oil (1 to 1 ?inches) to 360°F. | | 8 | Fry 3 to 4 wontons at a time, turning occasionally, until golden brown, about 1 minute on each side. | | 9 | Drain. | | 10 | Cool thoroughly and store in airtight container. | | 11 | Serve with ice cream or sherbet if desired. |
