| 1 | Recipe by: country woman magazine - july/august 19 in a mixing bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar. | | 2 | Add 3-?cups flour; mix well. | | 3 | Sprinkle a board with some of the remaining four. | | 4 | Knead for 5 minutes, adding enough remaining flour to make a soft, non-sticky dough. | | 5 | Roll to ? thickness. | | 6 | Cut into 3"x1" strips. | | 7 | Place 1" apart on ungreased baking sheets. | | 8 | Prick with a fork. | | 9 | Bake at 325 °F for 20-25 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned. | | 10 | Yield about 4 dozen |
