Ingredients:

| cup | Sliced mushrooms | | | -- fresh, or canned, drained | | 1/2
| cup | Chopped onion | | 2
| tbsp | Butter or margarine | | 1/3
| cup | Dairy sour cream | | | MEAT LOAF | | 1 1/2
| lbs | Ground beef | | 3/4
| cup | Quaker Oats, uncooked | | | -- (quick or old-fashioned) | | 1
| | Egg | | 2
| tsp | Salt | | 1/4
| tsp | Pepper | | 1
| tsp | Worcestershire sauce | | 2/3
| cup | Milk |

Procedures:
| 1 | For filling, lightly brown mushrooms and onion in butter in medium-sized skillet. | | 2 | Remove from heat; stir in sour cream. | | 3 | For meat loaf, combine all ingredients thoroughly. | | 4 | Place half of meat mixture in shallow baking pan. | | 5 | Shape to form an oval base. | | 6 | Lengthwise down the center make a shallow "well" for the filling. | | 7 | Spoon filling into "well". | | 8 | Shape remaining meat mixture over filling, making sure all filling is covered. | | 9 | Seal bottom and top meat mixtures together. | | 10 | Bake in preheated moderate oven (350°F). | | 11 | About 1 hour. | | 12 | Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. |
