Saucy ham and potato bake

Ingredients:
2 tbspOnion, chopped
1/4 cupMargarine
1/4 cupFlour
1 tspSalt
1/2 tspDry mustard
Dash pepper
1 1/2 cupMilk
2 cupCheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 lbsHam, cut into 1/8" slices
6 cupPotato slices, cooked
Procedures:
1Saute onion in margarine.
2Blend in flour and seasonings.
3Gradually add milk; cool, stirring constantly until thickened.
4Add 1-?cups cheese; stir until melted.
5Toss potatoes in cheese sauce.
6Pour into 2-quart casserole, reserving 1 cup potato slices.
7Arrange ham and remaining potato slices on top of casserole.
8Bake at 350 °F for 30 minutes.
9Top with remaining cheese
