Rutabaga pudding (irish)

Ingredients:
1 lbsRutabagas
3 tbspFine breadcrumbs
3 tbspMilk
2 tbspMelted butter
1 tbspSalt
1 tbspSugar
1 xLg. egg, well beaten
Procedures:
1Clean, peel and cube the rutabaga, and cook in boiling water until tender, then drain.
2Mash thoroughly; then add all the other ingredients.
3Put into a 2-qt casserole and bake at 350f for 1 hour.
4A pinch of cinnamon or ginger might be added.
