| tbsp | Milk | | 2
| tbsp | Melted butter | | 1
| tbsp | Salt | | 1
| tbsp | Sugar | | 1
| x | Lg. egg, well beaten |

Procedures:
| 1 | Clean, peel and cube the rutabaga, and cook in boiling water until tender, then drain. | | 2 | Mash thoroughly; then add all the other ingredients. | | 3 | Put into a 2-qt casserole and bake at 350f for 1 hour. | | 4 | A pinch of cinnamon or ginger might be added. |
