Ingredients:
DOUGH
2 cupWarm water
2 packYeast
1/2 cupSugar
1 1/2 tspSalt
1 Egg
1/4 cupMargarine, melted & cooled
6 1/2 cupFlour
RUNZA FILLING
2 lbsHamburger
1/2 cupOnion, chopped
3 1/2 cupCabbage, shredded
1/4 cupWater
1 tspSalt
1/2 tspPepper
Dash Tabasco sauce
Procedures:
1Dough: mix water, yeast, sugar and salt; stir until dissolved.
2Add egg and margarine.
3Stir in flour.
4Put in tight bowl and refigerate 4 hours or overnight.
5Roll dough into oblong shape and cut into squares.
6Put in hamburger mixture.
7Pull up 4 sides and press edges together.
8Place on greased cookie sheet and bake 20 minutes in a 350^ oven.
9Runza filling: brown hamburger and onion; drain off excess.
10Add shredded cabbage, seasonings and water.
11Simmer 15 minutes.
12Cool completely before putting in dough.
