Ingredients:

| tbsp | Minced gingeroot | | 3
| | Cloves garlic, crushed | | | Pepper | | 1
| lbs | Flank steak | | 1/4
| cup | Sherry | | 1/4
| cup | Light soy sauce |

Procedures:
| 1 | Press ginger, garlic and pepper to taste into both sides of steak; place in shallow casserole or plastic bag. | | 2 | Combine sherry and soy sauce; pour over meat. | | 3 | Cover or close bag and refrigerate overnight. | | 4 | Remove meat from marinade, reserving marinade. | | 5 | Place meat on broiler pan and brush with marinade. | | 6 | Broil 2 inches from heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until browned. | | 7 | Turn, baste with marinate and broil for 2 to 3 minutes longer or until desired doneness. | | 8 | Slice steak diagonally across the grain in very thin slices. | | 9 | Make about 4 servings. |
