Ingredients:
3 sliceBacon, diced
2 tspCornstarch
1/4 tspDry mustard
1 tbspPacked brown sugar
1 Small onion, sliced
1/4 tspSalt
1 canCut green beans (#303)
1 tbspVinegar
1 Hard cooked egg, chopped
Procedures:
1Cook bacon until crisp, remove from skillet.
2Add onion to 1 tbs.
3Bacon drippings, cook until tender.
4Blend in cornstarch, salt and mustard.
5Drain beans, reserving ?c. liquid.
6Stir in reserved bean liquid.
7Cook, stirring constantly until thickened and translucent.
8Blend in sugar and vinegar.
9Add beans.
10Heat through.
11Top with crumbled bacon and chopped egg.
