Ingredients:
| 3
| slice | Bacon, diced | | 2
| tsp | Cornstarch | | 1/4
| tsp | Dry mustard | | 1
| tbsp | Packed brown sugar | | 1
| | Small onion, sliced | | 1/4
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| can | Cut green beans (#303) | | 1
| tbsp | Vinegar | | 1
| | Hard cooked egg, chopped |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cook bacon until crisp, remove from skillet. | | 2 | Add onion to 1 tbs. | | 3 | Bacon drippings, cook until tender. | | 4 | Blend in cornstarch, salt and mustard. | | 5 | Drain beans, reserving ?c. liquid. | | 6 | Stir in reserved bean liquid. | | 7 | Cook, stirring constantly until thickened and translucent. | | 8 | Blend in sugar and vinegar. | | 9 | Add beans. | | 10 | Heat through. | | 11 | Top with crumbled bacon and chopped egg. |
