Ingredients:

| lbs | Linguine or thin spaghetti | | 2
| tbsp | Butter | | 1
| large | Sweet onion, chopped | | 1 1/2
| cup | Green tomato puree* | | 1
| cup | Whipping cream | | | Salt, to taste | | 1
| tbsp | Whole black peppercorns | | 6
| tbsp | Chopped sundried tomatoes | | | -- (to 8 tb.) | | 3
| | To 4 tb. chopped parsley |

Procedures:
| 1 | *see green tomato puree recipe. | | 2 | prepare linguine or spaghetti according to package directions. | | 3 | melt butter in a heavy saucepan. | | 4 | Add onion; saute until transparent. | | 5 | Add green tomato puree and whipping cream. | | 6 | Salt to taste. | | 7 | Simmer until sauce is thickened. | | 8 | While sauce is cooking, coarsely crush peppercorns in a mortar with a pestle. | | 9 | drain linguine or spaghetti. | | 10 | Toss with sauce. | | 11 | Sprinkle each serving with crushed peppercorns, sundried tomatoes and parsley. | | 12 | yield: 6 to 8 servings. | | 13 | from alice colombo"s 09/21/94 "cook"s corner" column in "the (louisville, ky) courier-journal." pg. | | 14 | C6 |
