Pasta with creamy green tomato sauce

Ingredients:
1 lbsLinguine or thin spaghetti
2 tbspButter
1 largeSweet onion, chopped
1 1/2 cupGreen tomato puree*
1 cupWhipping cream
Salt, to taste
1 tbspWhole black peppercorns
6 tbspChopped sundried tomatoes
-- (to 8 tb.)
3 To 4 tb. chopped parsley
Procedures:
1*see green tomato puree recipe.
2prepare linguine or spaghetti according to package directions.
3melt butter in a heavy saucepan.
4Add onion; saute until transparent.
5Add green tomato puree and whipping cream.
6Salt to taste.
7Simmer until sauce is thickened.
8While sauce is cooking, coarsely crush peppercorns in a mortar with a pestle.
9drain linguine or spaghetti.
10Toss with sauce.
11Sprinkle each serving with crushed peppercorns, sundried tomatoes and parsley.
12yield: 6 to 8 servings.
