Pasta & garbonzo beans with roasted red peppers

Ingredients:
1 1/2 ozCans garbonzo beans
1/4 cupPlus 3 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 cupDiced drained seeded canned
1 1/2 lbsFusilli or rotini pasta
5 Red bell peppers, diced
4 largeGarlic cloves, minced
On top (originally 1 cup
Rinsed and drained
Or red wine vinegar
Italian plum tomatoes
2 medRed onions, diced
1 cupChopped fresh basil
X (optional) parmesan cheese
Mixed in to pasta)
Procedures:
1Combine garbonzo beans, onions and vinegar in a bowl.
2Set aside.
3Preheat broiler.
4Combine bell peppers, tomatoes, ?c basil and garlic in another bowl.
5Spread mixture evenly over heavy large baking sheet (spread with pam type substance).
6Broil until peppers soften slightly, stirring occasionally ~10min.
7Add to garbonzo beans.
8Meanwhile, cook pasta, when done, add to bowl of all the other stuff, toss well.
9Sprinkly with remaining ¼c basil and cheese if desired.
