Oven-crisped zucchini spears

Ingredients:
3 Medium zucchini
1/3 cupCornmeal
1/3 cupAll-purpose flour
1/4 cupGrated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tspOnion powder
1/4 tspSalt
1/8 tspLemon pepper or black pepper
1 Egg, beaten
2 tbspMilk
3 tbspMargarine or butter, melted
Procedures:
1Heat oven to 450 degrees.
2Grease 13 by 9 inch glass baking dish.
3Cut off and discard ends from zucchini.
4Slice each zucchini in half lengthwise, then in half again forming 12 spears.
5Combine dry ingredients.
6In shallow bowl, combine egg and milk.
7Roll zucchini in cornmeal mixture.
8Dip into egg mixture, then again in cornmeal mixture to coat thoroughly.
9Place in prepared dish.
10Drizzle with margarine.
11Bake about 15 minutes or until zucchini is tender.
12Makes 6 servings.
