Ingredients:
2 tbspButter or margarine
5 medOnions thinly sliced and
Seperated into rings
2 cupShredded cheddar cheese
1/3 cupPackaged biscuit mix
1/8 tspPepper
1/2 cupShredded cheddar
Procedures:
1Directions: preheat oven to 350°F grease a 1 ?quart casserole dish; set aside In a large saucepan, melt the butter or margarine.
2Add the onions and cook, covered over medium-low heat 10 -15 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
3Remove from heat.
4Stir the 2 cups cheddar chees, the biscuit mix, and pepper into the onion mixture.
5Transfer the mixture to the prepared casserole dish.
6Sprinkle with the ?cup cheddar, if desired.
7Bake uncovered in the 350 oven for 30 minutes.
8Serve immediately.
