My candied yams

Ingredients:
6 largeSweet potatoes
1/2 cupOrange juice
1/2 cupPineapple juice
1/2 cupSugar
1/2 cupBrown sugar, packed
1/4 tspGround ginger
2 tbspCornstarch
1 tspLemon juice
1/4 cupAmaretto
1 tbspMargarine
Procedures:
1Place sweet potatoes in a large kettle and add water to cover.
2Cook over medium heat until barely tender; drain.
3Peel and cut potatoes into fourths.
4Arrange in a medium size casserole.
5Preheat oven to 350°F.
6While potatoes are cooking, combine sugars, ginger and cornstarch in a microwave safe measuring cup.
7Add juices.
8Blend well.
9Place in microwave on high and cook til sugars are dissolved and mixture starts to bubble; stir in amaretto and margarine.
10Pour sauce over potatoes.
11Bake uncovered 50 to 60 min or until sauce is thickened.
