Mushrooms & tofu in wine

Ingredients:
1 tbspSafflower oil
2 eachGarlic cloves, minced
1 largeOnion, chopped
1 1/2 lbsMushrooms, sliced
1/2 medGreen bell pepper, diced
1/2 cupDry white wine
1/4 cupTamari
1/2 tspGrated ginger
2 tspSesame oil
1 1/2 tbspCornstarch
2 eachCakes tofu, grated
Crushed almonds
Procedures:
1Heat safflower in a wok.
2When hot add garlic & onion & saute over moderately low heat till the onion is translucent.
3Add mushrooms, bell pepper, wine, tamari, ginger & sesame oil.
4Mix.
5Reduce heat, cover & simmer till mushrooms are tender but not overdone.
6Dissolve cornstarch in a small amount of water & stir into skillet.
7Stir in tofu, cover & simmer for another 2 minutes.
8Serve over noodles garnished with almonds.
