Ingredients:
| 1
| tbsp | Safflower oil | | 2
| each | Garlic cloves, minced | | 1
| large | Onion, chopped | | 1 1/2
| lbs | Mushrooms, sliced | | 1/2
| med | Green bell pepper, diced | | 1/2
| cup | Dry white wine | | 1/4
| cup | Tamari | | 1/2
| tsp | Grated ginger | | 2
| tsp | Sesame oil | | 1 1/2
| tbsp | Cornstarch | | 2
| each | Cakes tofu, grated | | | Crushed almonds |

Procedures:
| 1 | Heat safflower in a wok. | | 2 | When hot add garlic & onion & saute over moderately low heat till the onion is translucent. | | 3 | Add mushrooms, bell pepper, wine, tamari, ginger & sesame oil. | | 4 | Mix. | | 5 | Reduce heat, cover & simmer till mushrooms are tender but not overdone. | | 6 | Dissolve cornstarch in a small amount of water & stir into skillet. | | 7 | Stir in tofu, cover & simmer for another 2 minutes. | | 8 | Serve over noodles garnished with almonds. | | 9 | Nava atlas, "vegetariana" |
