Ingredients:
1 cupBiscuit mix
1 cupMushrooms, fresh, chopped
1 tbspOnion, green, slice
1 tbspPimiento
1/4 tspSalt
1/4 tspCelery seed
1 Egg yolk, beaten
1/4 cupSour cream
1 Egg white
Oil
Procedures:
1In mixing bowl combine biscuit mix, mushrooms, onion, pimiento, salt, and celery seed.
2Mix together egg yolk and sour cream; stir into dry ingredients just till moistened.
3Beat egg white to stiff peaks.
4Gently fold beaten egg white into mushroom mixture.
5In heavy saucepan or electric deep-fat fryer heat oil to 37Drop batter by tablespoon into hot oil.
6Fry about 2 minutes or till golden brown, turning once.
7Transfer to rack to drain.
8Serve hot.
