Ingredients:
3 tbspShortening
3 tbspMargarine or butter
1/3 cupGold Medal all-purpose
-flour
1/2 tspSalt
1/2 tspGround ginger
1/4 tspPepper
3 lbsChicken drumsticks and
-thighs
1/3 cupHoney
1/3 cupChili sauce 1/3 Cup soy
-sauce
Procedures:
1/2 t ground ginger
2heat oven to 425!.
3Heat shortening and margarine in rectangular pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches, in oven until melted.
4Mix flour, salt, v2 teaspoon ginger and the pepper.
5Coat chicken thoroughly with flour mixture.
6Place chicken, skin sides down, in pan.
7Bake uncovered 30 minutes; turn chicken.
8Bake 15 minutes longer; remove chicken.
9Drain fat from pan.
10Line pan with aluminum foil.
11Return chicken to pan.
12mix remaining ingredients; pour over chicken.
13Bake uncovered 15 minutes, spooning honey mixture onto chicken every 5 minutes.
14Serve immediately or refrigerate and serve chilled.
