Mixed vegetables (our recipe)

Ingredients:
1 eachLARGE YELLOW ONION
1 eachGREEN PEPPER
2 cupCARROTS, CUTUP *
4 eachSTALKS OF CELERY
1 cupWATER
2 tbspBEEF SOUP STARTER
4 tbspBROWN SUGAR
2 tbspCORNSTARCH
Procedures:
1Cut all vegetables into small bite sized pieces.
2Mix beef soup starter and water in a deep skillet and bring to a boil.
3Add vegetables.
4Reduce heat and simmer until vegetables are tender.
5Add brown sugar and stir until melted.
6Mix cornstarch with ?cup water.
7Add to vegetables in skillet.
8Stir until liquid thickens.
9Serve vegetables with cooking liquid.
10Can be served with beef or chicken meals.
