Mac's pinto beans

Ingredients:
15 ozTomato sauce
1 lbsBacon, *
4 Cloves
1/4 cupBrown sugar
4 tspRogelio bueno adobo, **
1 lbsBeans
1 largeRed onion, chopped>
Crushed garlic
2 tspWorcestershire, or more
Procedures:
1** use about 4 tab.
2Of the paste and add it about 45 minutes to 1 hour before serving the beans.
3*uncooked and sliced to thickness you like.
4Put beans in crockpot and add water to cover plus 1 cup or the amount you would want for juice.
5Let beans cook till they start to soften then add everything but the adobo and let cook till done.
6Add salt and pepper to taste.
7I sometimes add 1- cup of beef broth instead of the water as i like the richer flavor.
8If using the broth i"m careful adding salt.
9We serve with fat slices of buttered french bread and pour the beans and juice on top of it.
