Ingredients:
1 eachLARGE STEWING CHICKEN
2 eachSTALKS OF CELERY
1 eachCARROT, DICED
1 eachONION, CHOPPED
1 tspSALT
1/8 tspPEPPER
1 eachBAY LEAF
1 packHERBED STUFFING MIX
1 canCREAM OF CHICKEN SOUP
Procedures:
1* cut chicken into eight pieces *--------------------------------------------------------------------- simmer chicken, vegetables and seasoning, in water to cover, until tender.
2Remove meat from bones.
3Cut into fairly large pieces.
4Reserve ?cup broth and save remaining broth for future use.
5Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions.
6Dilute soup with ?cup broth.
7Combine chicken, stuffing and soup.
8Place in a casserole dish.
9Bake at 350 deg f for 25 minutes.
10Garnish with cranberry sauce or spiced peaches.
11Makes 4 servings.
