| 1 | Preheat oven to 300 degrees. |
| 2 | Put ham, fatty-side up, in a foil-lined metal baking pan. |
| 3 | Cover with foil and bake for 3 hours. |
| 4 | Combine remaining ingredients. |
| 5 | Remove ham from oven. |
| 6 | Carefully trim away all but 1/8-inch of fat. |
| 7 | Score with a sharp knife in a diamond pattern, making cuts 1/8-inch deep and one inch apart. |
| 8 | Pour excess fat from pan. |
| 9 | Line pan with new foil, and put ham in pan. |
| 10 | Spoon glaze over ham and bake for 20 minutes. |
| 11 | Raise oven temperature to 325 degrees, and glaze again. |
| 12 | Bake an additional 20 minutes. |
| 13 | Glaze once more and bake 15 minutes. |
| 14 | Cool before carving into thin slivers |
