Ingredients:
3 tbspMelted butter
1 1/2 tspChopped garlic
6 Idaho Potatoes, medium
-sized, sliced 1/8 -inch
-thick
2 cupHeavy cream
-white pepper to taste
-salt to taste
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350! f.
2Baste 13 x 9 inch shallow, stainless steel pan with butter.
3Rub chopped garlic on bottom and sides of basted pan.
4Layer sliced, peeled idaho potatoes.
5Pour heavy cream to cover potatoes.
6Use rubber spatula to mix.
7Salt and pepper to taste.
8(if potatoes absorb the cream, add more cream to cover potatoes).
9Cover and bring to a full simmer in 350! f oven, about five minutes.
10Continue to bake in oven at 350! f, uncovered, for 45 minutes or until potatoes are lightly browned and tender.
