Ingredients:
4 lbsVenison shoulder
-Salt and pepper
-Flour
3 tbspShortening
2 tbspHorseradish
1/2 cupTomato juice
1/2 cupRed wine
Procedures:
1Rub shoulder with salt, peper and flour.
2Melt shortening in kettle, add meat, browning quickly on all sides.
3Add horseradish, tomato juice and wine.
4Cover, cook slsowly for 3 hours, adding water as needed.
5Thicken the juice with flour to make good gravy.
