Ingredients:
1/4 tspSalt
1/4 cupSugar
1 1/2 tbspLight soy sauce
1 1/2 tspOyster sauce
1/4 tspSesame oil
1/2 tspMSG (optional)
1 tbspWhite or rose wine
1 1" piece gingerroot
- peeled and minced
1 1/2 tspHoisin sauce
1 tbspBottled Chinese bean paste
1 Garlic clove, minced
2 Shallots, diced
1 1/4 lbsPork tenderloin
2 tbspHoney
2 dropRed food color
Procedures:
1Combine salt, sugar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, msg, wine, gingerroot, hoisin sauce, bean paste, garlic and shallots in large bowl.
2Add pork, baste thoroughly and marinate 1 ?to 2 hours.
3Place pork on rack in roasting pan.
4Bake at 425f 15 minutes.
5Turn meat and bake 7 minutes longer.
6Remove pork and brush with honey mixed with food color.
7Return to oven 10 minutes, or until done.
8Cut meat crosswise into thin slices and serve hot or cold
