Ingredients:
1 cupSugar, white
1 cupSugar, dark brown, packed
2 1/4 cupFlour
1 tbspBaking powder
1 tspSoda
1 tspCinnamon
1 tspAllspice
1/2 tspSalt
2 cupPersimmon pulp
1 cupButtermilk
2 Eggs
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2In a large bowl, measure all ingredients.
3With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients just until batter is smooth.
4Pour batter into two 9 x 9 inch pans; level batter with spatula.
5Bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
6Serve with whipped cream.
