Ingredients:
8 French bread, slices/toasted
And buttered, ? thick
4 Eggs
2/3 cupMaple syrup
1 pinchSalt
2 cupHalf and half
Butter as needed for the pan
Procedures:
1Arrange the bread slices buttered side up in a buttered baking dish.
2Beat the eggs lightly and stir in the maple syrup and the salt.
3Gradually stir in the half and half, and pour the mixture over the bread.
4Place the baking dish in a pan of hot water and bake in a 375 degree oven about 35 minutes, or until the custard is set.
