| 1 | Heat oven to 375". |
| 2 | Cook freezer mix in large skillet until meat is brown. |
| 3 | Drain off fat. |
| 4 | Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients except pie crust mix and set aside. |
| 5 | Prepare pastry for two-crust pie as directed on package. |
| 6 | Divide dough into 8 equal parts. |
| 7 | Roll each part on floured surface into a 7-inch circle. |
| 8 | On half of each circle, spread about ?cup meat mixture (packed) to within ?inch of edge. |
| 9 | Moisten edge of pastry with water. |
| 10 | Fold pastry over filling, sealing edges with a fork. |
| 11 | Place on ungreased baking sheet; prick tops with a fork. |
| 12 | Bake 30 to 35 minutes. |
| 13 | You can serve these as sandwiches or, if you prefer, place on plates and top with a favorite gravy or sauce. |
| 14 | Note: you can substitute 1 cup of a favorite cooked vegetable for the canned carrots |
