Ingredients:
1 tbspCornstarch
1 tbspBrown sugar
1 tbspLight soy sauce
1/2 tspGround ginger
1 cupVegetable or chicken broth
1 packMr. Turkey Smoked Sausage
-cut into ? slices (16oz)
1 tbspOil
4 cupAssorted cut-up fresh
-vegetables
3 1/3 cupHot cooked rice
Procedures:
1In small bowl, combine cornstarch, brown sugar, soy sauce and ginger.
2Gradually blend in broth until mixture is smooth; set aside.
3Coat large, non-stick skillet with vegetable spray.
4Brown sausage; remove.
5Add oil and vegetables to skillet.
6Cook, stirring 3-5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
7Add sausage and broth mixture.
8Cook, stirring until sauce thickens.
9Serve over hot rice.
10Makes 5 servings.
11Preparation time: 20 minutes.
12Cooking time: 15 minutes.
13Serving size: 1 cup turkey vegetable mixture (approimately 221 calories); 2/3 cups rice (approximately 176 calories).
