| 1 | Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. |
| 2 | Clean and dry the chicken. |
| 3 | Then wet the skin with bottled lemon juice. |
| 4 | Sprinkle the top with salt, pepper, garlic powder & msg. |
| 5 | Roast with water and sherry in the bottom of the pan. |
| 6 | Baste occasionally (with water and sherry). |
| 7 | after one & a half hours, slice between the thigh and body on both sides. |
| 8 | Continue to roast till done (about two hours; check charts for bird"s weight). |
| 9 | sprinkle with paprika (for color) before serving. |
