Garbanzo soup

Ingredients:
3 tbspButter
1/4 cupMinced onion
3 cupWater
1 can(15 oz) garbanzo or
-chickpeas, drained
2 Beef bouillon cubes
1/4 tspSalt
1/4 tspGarlic salt
1/4 tspDried mint leaves
1/8 tspBlack pepper
1/4 cupMacaroni, uncooked
Grated parmesan cheese
Minced parsley for garnish
Procedures:
1In a 2-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
2Saute onion until golden.
3Add water, garbanzos or chickpeas, bouillon cubes, salt, garlic salt, mint leaves and pepper.
4Bring to a boil.
5Stir in macaroni.
6Reduce heat.
7Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
8Serve topped with parmesan cheese and garnished with minced parsley.
