Ingredients:
1/2 cup-Water
Onion, chopped
2 Garlic cloves, minced
16 ozTomatoes, chopped
1/2 tspPaprika
1/2 tspDried oregano
1/4 tspPepper, black
Ds Hot pepper sauce
16 ozGarbanzo beans, drained
-& rinsed
1 cupWinter squash, peeled &
-diced
1 1/4 cupSpicy tomato juice
2 cupFresh spinach, chopped

Procedures:
1Place water, onion and garlic in a large pot.
2Cook, stirring occasionally, until onion is softened slightly, about 5 minutes.
3Add tomatoes (including tomato liquid) and seasonings.
4Cook for 5 more minutes.
5Add garbanzo beans, squash and tomato juice.
6Cover and cook for 30 minutes, until squash is tender.
7Stir in spinach and cook until softened, about 2 to 3 minutes.
8Serves 4.
