Ingredients:
6 sliceBacon, cut
Into ?inch pieces
2 cupWater
1 tspSalt
1/4 tspWhite pepper
1 lbsCod, cut into 1-inch
Pieces
4 New potatoes, cut
Into 1-inch slices
2 medStalks celery, sliced
1 medOnion, chopped
1 canWhole kernel, (17 ozs)
Corn, undrained
1 cupHalf-and-half
Procedures:
1Recipe by: betty crocker"s smartcook cook bacon in 4-quart dutch oven until crisp; remove bacon and drain.
2Drain fat from dutch oven.
3Stir remaining ingredients except half-and-half into dutch oven.
4Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
5Cover and simmer until fish and potatoes are done, 15 to 20 minutes.
6Stir in half-and-half; heat until hot.
7Sprinkle each serving with bacon and, if desired, garnish with celery leaves.
