Easy pot roast

Ingredients:
4 Pound boneless beef roast
1 tbspOil
1 tbspButter
1 largeOnion, sliced
1 can(14 ?oz) stewed
Tomatoes
1 cupBeef broth
1 Jars Prepared horseradish
1/2 tspMrs. dash
Gravy:
3 tbspFlour
1/4 cupCold water
Procedures:
1In heavy 4-quart pot, brown meat in oil and butter.
2Or, if you have longer, simply grease the inside of your crockpot and put in the thawed roast, starting it on high for 30-45 minutes.
3Add onion to crockpot, and mix together remaining ingredients, except for flour and water.
4Pour over meat and let cook on low setting for the rest of the day; on top of stove, simmer for 2-3 hours until meat is tender, turning meat occasionally.
5Remove meat to warm serving plate; keep warm.
6To make gravy, dissolve flour in water.
7Add 2 tablespoons hot cooking liquid.
8Add to liquid in crockpot or roaster and cook, stirring constantly until thickened.
9Serve sliced meat with hot gravy.
10Makes 6-8 servings and 1 quart of gravy
