Ingredients:

| | Pound boneless beef roast | | 1
| tbsp | Oil | | 1
| tbsp | Butter | | 1
| large | Onion, sliced | | 1
| can | (14 ?oz) stewed | | | Tomatoes | | 1
| cup | Beef broth | | 1
| | Jars Prepared horseradish | | 1/2
| tsp | Mrs. dash | | | Gravy: | | 3
| tbsp | Flour | | 1/4
| cup | Cold water |

Procedures:
| 1 | In heavy 4-quart pot, brown meat in oil and butter. | | 2 | Or, if you have longer, simply grease the inside of your crockpot and put in the thawed roast, starting it on high for 30-45 minutes. | | 3 | Add onion to crockpot, and mix together remaining ingredients, except for flour and water. | | 4 | Pour over meat and let cook on low setting for the rest of the day; on top of stove, simmer for 2-3 hours until meat is tender, turning meat occasionally. | | 5 | Remove meat to warm serving plate; keep warm. | | 6 | To make gravy, dissolve flour in water. | | 7 | Add 2 tablespoons hot cooking liquid. | | 8 | Add to liquid in crockpot or roaster and cook, stirring constantly until thickened. | | 9 | Serve sliced meat with hot gravy. | | 10 | Makes 6-8 servings and 1 quart of gravy |
