Ingredients:
| 1/2
| lbs | Bulk pork sausage | | 1
| small | Onion, sliced (?cup) | | 1
| cl | Garlic, minced | | 1 1/2
| cup | Cubed, fully cooked ham | | 2
| tbsp | Snipped parseley | | 1
| each | Bay leaf | | 2
| can | Navy beans (15-oz. each) | | 1/4
| cup | Dry white wine | | | Ds Ground cloves |

Procedures:
| 1 | In skillet, cook sausage, onion and garlic till meat is slightly browned and onion is tender; drain off fat. | | 2 | Add ham, parsley, and bay leaf; mix well. | | 3 | Stir in undrained beans, wine and cloves. | | 4 | Turn into a 1 ?quart casserole. | | 5 | Bake, covered, at 325°F for 45 minutes. | | 6 | Uncover and bake 40 to 45 minutes longer; stirring occasionally. | | 7 | Remove bay leaf. | | 8 | Serve in bowls with hot corn bread, if desired |
