Easy cassoulet

Ingredients:
1/2 lbsBulk pork sausage
1 smallOnion, sliced (?cup)
1 clGarlic, minced
1 1/2 cupCubed, fully cooked ham
2 tbspSnipped parseley
1 eachBay leaf
2 canNavy beans (15-oz. each)
1/4 cupDry white wine
Ds Ground cloves
Procedures:
1In skillet, cook sausage, onion and garlic till meat is slightly browned and onion is tender; drain off fat.
2Add ham, parsley, and bay leaf; mix well.
3Stir in undrained beans, wine and cloves.
4Turn into a 1 ?quart casserole.
5Bake, covered, at 325°F for 45 minutes.
6Uncover and bake 40 to 45 minutes longer; stirring occasionally.
7Remove bay leaf.
8Serve in bowls with hot corn bread, if desired
