Ingredients:
1 largeCabbage
15 ozCan tomato sauce, divided
1 lbsGround beef
4 ozCan of mushrooms, undrained
1/2 cupUncooked instant rice
1/2 cupChopped onion
1/4 tspSalt
1/8 tspPepper
1/8 tspGarlic powder
1 tspSugar
1/2 tspLemon juice
1 tbspCornstarch
1 tbspWater
Procedures:
1Remove 10 outer leaves of cabbage.
2Cover leaves with boiling water; cover and let stand 10 minutes.
3Drain well.
4Combine ?cup tomato sauce and next 7 ingredients, mixing well.
5Place ?cup meat mixture in center of each cabbage leaf.
6Flod 2 opposite ends over, and place rolls, seam side down, in a lightly greased 8 inch baking dish.
7Combine remaining tomato sauce, sugar and lemon juice; pour over cabbage rolls.
8Cover and bake at 350 °F for 1 hour.
9Remove cabbage rolls to a serving platter; drain tomato sauce mixture into a saucepan.
10Combine cornstarch and water, stirring until smooth, stir uinto tomato sauce mixture.
11Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
12Boil 1 minute.
13Pour over cabbage rolls
