Chicken soup with potato dumplings

Ingredients:
1/4 cupOnion, chopped
1 tbspVegetable oil
2 cupChicken, cut up, cooked
1 cupCarrots, sliced
1 1/2 cupBisquick
1 tbspGreen onion, chopped w/ top
1/4 cupMilk
1 eachGarlic, crushed clove
6 cupChicken broth
1 cupCelery, sliced
1/4 tspSage, dried, crushed leaves
1 cupMashed potatoes, cold
1/8 tspPepper
Procedures:
1The first 8 ingredients (onion to sage) make up the soup.
2Cook onion and garlic in oil in 4 qt. dutch oven, stirring frequently, until golden brown.
3Add broth, checken, celery, carrots, and sage.
4Heat to boiling.
5Prepare the potato dumplings by mixing the bisquick, mashed potatoes, green onion, pepper, and milk until a soft dough forms.
6Beat vigorously 30 seconds.
7Knead about 2 minuted or until smooth, adding more baking mix if necessary.
8Roll dough into 18 balls, about 1 ?inches in diameter.
9Drop the dumplings into the boiling soup.
10Cook uncovered over low heat 10 minutes.
11Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
12Each serving has 305 calories.
