Procedures:

In 1 ?quart saucepan stir together undrained cherries, water, sugar, tapioca, and cloves.

Let stand 5 minutes.

Bring to boiling.

Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat; stir in wine.
