| 1 | Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. |
| 2 | Make a depression in the centre and pour in the milk, butter and grated rind. |
| 3 | Stir slightly. |
| 4 | Add snow and raisins. |
| 5 | Stir only until dry ingredients disappear. |
| 6 | Spoon into 12 buttered muffin cups filling 2/3 full. |
| 7 | Bake at 400°F for 15 to 18 minutes. |
| 8 | Serve hot with butter or preserves. |
