Ingredients:
PIZZA
2 eachPREBAKED PIZZA CRUSTS
3 tbspBUTTER
8 eachMEDIUM GOLDEN DEL. APPLES
1 cupBROWN SUGAR
1 lbsPORK SAUSAGE
16 ozSHARP CHEDDAR CHEESE
APPLE PIE SPICE
3 tbspCINNAMON
1 tbspNUTMEG
1 tbspALLSPICE
Procedures:
1Peel and thin slice the apples.
2Shred the cheddar cheese.
3In a large pan over medium heat, melt the butter.
4Add apples and cover.
5Cook and stir for 8 minutes or until apples are almost tender.
6Stir in brown sugar and apple spice.
7Cook and stir for 2 minutes longer or until apples are tender and glazed.
8Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook the sausages: drain on paper toweling.
9Divide ingredients in half.
10For each pizza, cover the crust with 1 ?cups cheese.
11Spread with apples.
12Bake at 400 deg f. for 5 minutes.
13Add sausages and ?cup cheese on top.
14Bake for 5 minutes longer.
15** note: make your own apple pie spice.
16Mix 3 tbsp. cinnamon, 1 tbsp. nutmeg and 1 tbsp. allspice.
