Ingredients:
3 cupBake it all mix*
1 Egg
1 tspVanilla
1 cupMilk
1/2 cupSugar
1 cupNuts -- chopped
Procedures:
1*do not pack.
2Break egg into bowl; beat.
3Stir in vanilla, milk, sugar and nuts.
4Add mix and beat until well blended.
5Turn into a 9 by 5 by 3-inch loaf pan, bottom rubbed with shortening.
6Bake in a 350°F. oven about 45 minutes.
7Let stand about 10 minutes, then turn out on a rack to cool.
8Twelve hours storage improves flavor and texture.
9: fruit bread: use chopped prunes or dried apricots instead of nuts in the nut bread recipe.
