| 1 | Heat oven to 32Grease 1 ?qt. casserole. |
| 2 | Scald 2 ?cups of the milk in small saucepan. |
| 3 | Gradually add cornmeal mix, stirring constantly. |
| 4 | Continue cooking and stirring until mixture looks like thick mush. |
| 5 | Stire in egg yolks, 1 at a time. |
| 6 | Remove from heat. |
| 7 | Stir in remaining 1 cup milk. |
| 8 | In bowl, beat whites until stiff. |
| 9 | Fold into cooked mixture. |
| 10 | Put into casserole. |
| 11 | Bake 1 hour, until golden brown. |
| 12 | Makes 1 pan of spoonbread |
