Big soft pretzels (from bread mix)

Ingredients:
1 tbspDry yeast
5 cupBread mix, up to six
1 1/2 cup-lukewarm water
2 Eggs, beaten
TOPPING
1 Egg, beaten
2 tbspCoarse salt
1/2 cupButter, melted
Procedures:
1Lightly grease 2 large baking sheets.
2In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
3Blend in 2 eggs and butter.
4Add 5 cups bread mix.
5Stir well.
6Add additional bread mix to make a soft, but not too sticky dough.
7Knead about 5 minutes until dough is smooth.
8Roll pieces of dough into ropes about ?inch in diameter and 18 to 24 inches long.
9Form into pretzel shapes.
10For pretzel sticks, cut dough into 5 to 6 inch lengths.
11Place on prepared baking sheets.
12Preheat oven to 42Brush tops of pretzels with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt.
13Bake immediately 12 to 15 minutes, until brown and crisp.
14Makes 12 to 15 large pretzels.
15Variation for a chewier pretzel, drop pretzel-shaped dough into a pan of boiling water.
16When dough floats to the top of the water, remove it.
17Preheat oven to 400.
18Brush with egg and sprinkle with coarse salt.
19Bake about 30 minutes.
