Ingredients:
10 cupAll-purpose flour
6 1/4 cupSugar
1 cupCornstarch
5 tbspBaking powder
1 tbspSalt
2 1/2 cupVegetable shortening
Procedures:
1In a large sifter, combine flour, sugar, cornstarch ,baking powder and salt.
2Sift, in batches, into a large bowl.
3Use a pastry blender to a heavy-duty mixer to blend in shortening until mixture resembles cornmeal in texture.
4Spoon into a 20-cup container with a tight-fitting lid.
5Seal container.
6Label with date and contents.
7Store in a cool, dry place.
8Use within 10 to 12 weeks.
9Makes about 17 cups of mix.
