Ingredients:
9 cupFlour
1/4 cupSugar
1/2 cupLow-sodium baking powder
1 1/4 cupVegetable Oil
Procedures:
1Directions: sift together flour, baking powder and sugar twice in a large bowl.
2Add oil slowly, using pastry blender, until mixture is texture of coarse corn meal.
3Store in a tightly covered container at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
4Mix will keep two months at room temperature, longer in the refrigerator.
5Spoon mixture into a cup lightly and level with a knife or spatula.
6Yield: 12 cups 1 cup: 571 cal, 10 gm prot, 23.6 gm fat, 79 gm carb, 0 chol, 2 mg sodium to be used in other recipes.
